Samira completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles for which she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. She pursued her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University, Los Angeles. With a background in assisting children with autism and related disorders, she trained at Cheerful Helpers Child and Family Study Center, providing narrative therapy for children ages 4-9. Through The Maple Counseling Center, she has also provided individual therapy for adolescents and adults, as well as a process group for teenagers. She is currently providing psychotherapy for adults in the following areas:

- Marital Counseling
- Life Coaching
- Trauma and PTSD
- Family Conflict
- Stress Management
